Dr Archana Nair, did masters from IIT Chennai then worked as Junior Research Fellow at IIT Delhi in the project entitled “ Development and Application of Extended Range Forecast System for climate risk management in Agriculture” under Department of Science and Technology (DST) for a span of 5 years. After that, she was selected as Project Scientist to work in the phase II of the same project at IIT Bhubaneswar. Consequently, she also did her Phd from Utkal University in the topic “Deterministic Extended Range Prediction of Rainfall and Temperature using Global Climate Model products over India” under the supervision of Prof.U.C.Mohanty. She has also worked as project fellow in Nansen Environmental Research Centre, Kochi. She has 15 publications international journals in her hand. Now, she is currently working as Assistant Professor in Amrita School of Arts and Science, Kochi.
