Mr. Roy is MSc in marine Geology from the Cochin University of Science and Technology. He has more than twenty-five year’sresearch experience in the field of Sedimentology, Mineralogy Mudlogging and Oil Exploration.
He has worked as a Mudlogger, Data Engineer and Well Site Geologist for national and international clients on behalf of M/S OIL FIELD INSTRUMENTATION, INDIA and HALLIBURTON PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, DUBAI and as Well Site Geologist for SHELL IRAN OFFSHORE LTD on behalf of HALLIBURTON PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ,Dubai in the Soroosh /Nowrooz Fields, Persian Gulf as Data Engineer for ENRON OIL & GAS (INDIA) LTD., on behalf of OIL FIELD INSTRUMENTATION, MUMBAI, at Mukta, Panna and Tapti fields, Mumbai offshore, as Pressure Engineer at Rashidpur Gas Fields, Bangladesh, for SYLHET GAS FIELDS LIMITED (a company of PETROBANGLA, BANGLADESH), as Data Engineer for COMMAND PETROLEUM / CAIRN ENERGY (INDIA) PTY LTD at Krishna-Godavary offshore basin, India, as Data Engineer for VAALCO ENERGY/ HARDY EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION (INDIA) LTD at Cauvery offshore basin, India, as Data Engineer for ENRON OIL AND GAS (INDIA) LTD at Mukta, Panna and Tapti fields, Mumbai offshore, as Mud logger for OIL INDIA LTD at Jaisalmer- Nagaur basin, India, and as Mud logger at the exploratory oil wells of OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORARION, INDIA.
